福島県立医科大学附属病院の松崎史弥先生から、Internal Medicine Meeting 2023 Doctor’s Dilemmaの体験レポートを頂きましたのでご報告いたします。

この度、私は米国内科学会総会にてDoctor’s Dilemmaの日本代表として参加させていただきました。日本代表としての参加は光栄でしたが、望んだ成績を収めることができず、申し訳ありませんでした。早押しに勝つことができず、英語力不足を痛感いたしました。

学会では、内科学に関する最新の研究やトピックを共有する貴重な体験をさせていただきました。最新の医療機器やデジタルツールの展示会やデモンストレーションを通じて、これらの革新的なツールが臨床現場でどのように活用されているかを学ぶことができました。また、アメリカで活躍されている大学院生や医師の方々との交流もあり、非常に刺激を受けました。英語スキルも向上させ、今後もこのような学会への参加や留学を目指し、皆様のような成果をお届けできるよう精進していきたいと思います。

最後に、この素晴らしい機会を与えていただいた米国内科学会日本支部の関係者の皆様に心から感謝申し上げます。また、旅費助成もして頂きありがとうございます。本当にありがとうございました。

I had the honor of participating as the representative for Japan in the Doctor’s Dilemma at the annual meeting of the American College of Physicians. Although it was a great privilege to represent Japan, I apologize for not achieving the desired results. I realized my lack of English proficiency as I was unable to win in the quick response rounds.

The conference provided me with a valuable experience to share the latest research and topics in internal medicine. Through exhibitions and demonstrations of the latest medical devices and digital tools, I learned how these innovative tools are being utilized in clinical settings. I also had the opportunity to interact with graduate students and physicians who are actively involved in the field in the United States, which was highly inspiring. I aim to improve my English skills and continue participating in such conferences and strive to deliver achievements like yours in the future.

Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the members of the Japanese Chapter of the American College of Physicians who gave me this wonderful opportunity. I would also like to thank you for the financial support provided for my travel expenses. Thank you very much indeed.
