新年度が始まり、ACP日本支部会員の皆様におかれましては益々のご健勝のことと存じます。今年も、米国内科学会ACPの年次総会が2026年4月16-18日サンフランシスコで開催され、日本支部からも多数の方がご参加されましたので、ご報告申し上げます。

サンフランシスコでの年次総会では、晴天に恵まれ、爽やかな気候のもと、活発な議論と質の高い生涯教育セッションが提供されました。開催後も登録することでセッションをビデオオンデマンドでも見ることができます。ぜひこの機会にご覧いただけましたら幸いです。

日本支部からは、日本支部の年次総会講演会で黒川賞の受賞者、Doctor’s Dilemma優勝チームが、本場の米国学会にて参加・発表されました。ACP本部では、10年間、Chief Executive Officer (CEO)、Vice PresidentをつとめたDarilyn Moyer先生が退任されるという大きな節目の年でもありました。素晴らしい講演をされ、ACPのMission, Vision, Valuesは引き継がれるものと思います。

Governor’s Newsletter

With the start of the new academic year, I hope this message finds all members of the ACP Japan Chapter in good health and high spirits.

The ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2026 was held in San Francisco from April 16 to 18, 2026, and we are pleased to report that many members from the Japan Chapter participated.

The meeting took place under beautiful weather, providing an excellent environment for active discussions and high-quality continuing professional development sessions. Please note that many sessions remain available via video on demand for registered participants, and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.

From the Japan Chapter, recipients of the Kurokawa Award and the winning team of Doctor’s Dilemma from our Annual Meeting participated and presented at this prestigious international forum. In addition, this year marked a significant milestone for the ACP, as Darilyn Moyer stepped down after serving for a decade as Chief Executive Officer and Vice President. Her outstanding address reaffirmed the enduring strength of the ACP’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

The Japan Chapter also hosted the annual Japan Chapter Reception and Dinner, both of which were well attended and highly successful.

Looking ahead, the ACP Japan Chapter Annual Meeting will be held on June 27–28, 2026, at Kyoto University. Preparations are well underway under the leadership of Dr. Makiishi, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. We warmly encourage all members to participate.
